How we handle your data.

Short answer: minimally. Long answer below.

What we collect

When you visit bhootagappa.com we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. This collects anonymous information including:

• Anonymized IP address (last octet removed by Google's anonymize_ip setting)
• Page paths you visit
• Buttons and CTAs you click
• How long you spend on each page
• Device type, browser, country
• A first-party anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser (no PII)
• UTM parameters from the link you arrived through

This is standard web analytics. We do not sell this data. We do not share it with advertisers. We use it only to understand which content resonates and where readers run into friction.

What we collect when you submit a form

When you fill out a form on this site (BG4 reservation, story submission, masterclass enrollment, etc.) you provide:

• Your name, email, and optional mobile
• The content you submit (story pitch, publisher inquiry, etc.)
• UPI payment confirmation (if you choose to pay)

This is delivered to pratiksha@justutter.com via Formspree (our form-processing partner) and stored only for the purpose of fulfilling your request. Pratiksha personally reads and replies to every submission.

What we don't do

• We don't track you across other websites
• We don't sell your data to anyone
• We don't share your email with third parties for marketing
• We don't use cookies for advertising — only for analytics

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data we have stored
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email pratiksha@justutter.com with the subject line [Privacy Request]. We respond within 7 business days.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies, all first-party:

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics (anonymized)
• bg_visitor_id — anonymous random ID, stored locally for funnel analysis
• bg_utm — UTM tags from the link you arrived through (helps us learn which content drives readers)

You can clear these any time via your browser settings without breaking the site.
